Strive to be just a little bit better today than you were yesterday.
Here is today’s Game and what’s going on.
Here is what I discovered today in our Dadly Daily Declaration reading from Discipline Equals Freedom by Jocko Willink.
The title of today’s reading is, “Weakness.” Let’s jump in:
- A person’s strength is often their biggest weakness.
- But, your weaknesses can become strengths.
Those gems lead us to today’s Dadly Daily Declaration:
You don’t have to accept that you are what you are and that “that” is what you are doomed to be. No. You don’t have to accept that. You fight. Always fight.
You struggle and scrape and kick and claw at those weaknesses — to change them. To stop them. Some days you win. But some days, you don’t. But each and every day: you get back up and move forward.
With your fists clenched. toward the battle. Toward the struggle. And you fight with everything you’ve got: To overcome those weakness and those shortfalls and those flaws as you strive to be just a little bit better today than you were yesterday.
