Here is today’s Game and what’s going on.
Here is what I discovered today in our Dadly Daily Declaration reading from The Perfect Day Formula by Craig Ballantyne.
The title of today’s reading is “When You Should (And Shouldn’t) Give Up.” Let’s get started:
- Never, ever give up on what is important to you. There are some things that you can, and should give up on. Some battles are meaningless and some wars are futile. Too many people have spend too much time fighting for things they don’t really want or were only chasing because other people insisted that they do so. Even when you win those battles, you still lose because you have wanted valuable time.
- The solution is to back up. Return to the exercise. Identify what really matters to you, not what matters to your parents, your co-workers, or society. Focus on your vision for you life. No one else has the exact same vision. Once you have your vision, then you have what is important to you, and that is where you must concentrate your energy.
Those gems lead us to today’s Dadly Daily Declaration:
Once you accept the power of your big vision that you have generated, all of the small things that help you have Perfect Days become so much more important. When you are working towards a grand vision, you can’t afford to waste time or sacrifice energy to other endeavors.
The world will tempt us with fantasy football, breaking news, celebrity gossip, and television show marathons. There are not part of your vision. They do not move you closer to your goals. You must stay strong, controlling what you can, coping with what you can’t and concentrating on what counts.
