We continue with our Dadly Daily Declaration series from Robin Sharma‘s newest book, The 5 AM Club: Own Your Morning, Elevate Your Life. This book is one I highly recommend. Nearly every page of Sharma’s book has a thought, value or principle that could be a daily declaration.
Here are a few gems from today’s reading:
- Study, then master, a smaller number of books versus skimming many An intense concentration only on what matters most is how the pros realize victory.
- Stop managing your time and star managing your focus.
- If you plan on being anything less than who you are capable of being, you will probably be unhappy all the days of your life.
- It takes an awesome amount of courage to feel the terror of true personal and professional growth and to keep going. But continuing when you’re frightened is how you become a legend.
- All builders of great things break through their fear daily to find higher levels of prowess, impact and human freedom.
Those quotes lead us to today’s Dadly Daily Declaration:
If you’re in the sport of winning, model all the great masters of history and strip away al the layers of complexity from your days. Simplify. Streamline everything. Become a purist. Less is really more. Concentrate on use a few work projects so you make them amazing versus diluting your attention on too many.
